Insurance Agents Honored at MFU Convention

GREAT FALLS, MT – Farmers Union Insurance agents from Billings, Bozeman, Conrad, Havre, Lewistown, Miles City, Missoula, and Ronan were recognized at the Montana Farmers Union (MFU) 91^st  annual meeting and convention in Great Falls, on Friday, October 27, 2006.  Awards were for recruiting the most new members and for membership retention for the Montana Farmers Union statewide organization.

Those honored with plaques and with cash awards included:

District 1

Most new members and most total members, 1^st place:  Ken Beard, Billings

Most new members and most total members, 2^nd place:  Ron Watts, Miles City

District 2

Most new members, 1^st place (tie):  Wally Duchscher, Havre, and Art Hoffart, Bozeman

Most total members, 1^st place:  Gordon Elings, Conrad

Most new members and most total members, 2^nd place:  Tom McKenna, Lewistown

District 3

Most new members and most total members, 1^st place:  Delie/Newman Agency, Ronan

Most new members and most total members, 2^nd place:  Andre Marcure, Missoula.

Governor Brian Schweitzer was the keynote speaker at the Insurance Agent’s Luncheon, which followed the Farmers Union Insurance annual meeting.
